Talk:QRCodes for PIDs

We need to argue that scholarly PIDs such as ORCID, DOIs and RORs have not been adapted as much as would be needed to have complete scholarly knowledge graph and some core entitities such as conferences and conference series do not have PIDs assigned at all in most cases. We would therefor propose to make the usage of such PIDs better visible by making the QR-Code of the PIDs a standard feature in scholarly publishing to that each and every homepage, institution, scholar, paper event and eventseries naturally displays such a barcode. We also need an approach to make this go "viral" What would be the argumentation and the tasks to be done?
